FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of high-temperature superconducting tapes (hereinafter – HTSC tapes) of the second generation, namely to diagnostics of HTSC tape quality and search of defective conveying and measuring rollers during their production by analysis of measured characteristics. Diagnostics method of transporting and measuring rollers used in HTSC tape production process, produced in several technological stages with its movement in process of production by means of transporting rollers and control of process parameters by measuring rollers, each stage is carried out using a group of conveying rollers of the same diameter D and a group of measuring rollers of the same diameter d, wherein diameter of conveying rollers of at least one group differs from diameters of conveying rollers of other groups.
EFFECT: disclosed method allows fast and high reliability of detecting defective conveying rollers, including directly in process of HTSC tape production, and therefore, to take rapid measures to replace rollers and obtain high-quality HTSC tape.
