FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas, oil and oil refining industry and can be used for storage of natural and industrial gases in soluble rocks, for example deposits of rock salt. Objective of the method is to increase reliability of creation and operation of underground gas storages with achievement of maximum possible level of industrial safety. According to the method, prior to installation of a tubing string in its lower pipe in the lower part holes are made, and a trap is placed in its in-tube space above them, and lower end of the lower pipe is equipped with teeth. Between the pipes of the production string a branch pipe with holes is built in, and a bushing with a mounting seat is installed in it; at that, the internal surface of the branch pipe and external surface of the bushing are cone-shaped and reciprocal to each other with conicity directed upwards. During installation of the tubing string, its weight is unloaded to the bottom of the reservoir and teeth are fixed in it, a Christmas tree is installed and the mouth is tied with trains, and the brine is displaced from the reservoir through the holes in the tubing string, and to create excess pressure, a brine is fed into the tubing string, it is covered by throwing from the mouth of the landing plug, which seats in the seat of the bushing. After opening the packer, brine is continued to be fed into the tubing string and excess pressure is increased until the pins are sheared off and the bushing falls into the catch and openings are opened in the branch pipe, through which the brine flows down to the bottom of the tank, the tubing string is filled with gas through the holes in the branch pipe.
