FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: peculiar feature of the method for initial gas filling of an underground reservoir in rock salt, which involves pumping of gas to the underground reservoir and displacement of brine through the well, is alternate pumping of gas and discharge of brine through a suspended string. Between gas pumping cycles brine is released due to energy of gas compressed in underground reservoir. Gas pumping to the underground reservoir through the suspended string is performed in case it is impossible to pump gas through the inter-pipe space of the production and suspended strings with the specified productivity and to reduce brine flow rate at output as a result. Gas is pumped through the suspended string to the maximum allowable pressure in the underground reservoir, and the brine is released to the minimum gas pressure providing continuous output of brine with the specified flow rate.
EFFECT: improving efficiency of the process of initial filling of underground reservoir with compressed gas due to accelerating its commissioning.
