FIELD: radar ranging.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the field of radar ranging and can be used to control the operability of radar stations (RS). In the RS serviceability monitoring method, based on the antenna pattern (RP) scanning and the received signal level registration, after termination of probing signal radiation by signal from synchronizer, RS receiver and additional channel receiver with non-directional antenna are opened, receiving an end part of the emitted probing signal reflected from the reference reflector, recording the levels of the received signals in the recorder, plotting their dependence on the angular position of the inspection direction, obtaining respectively the transmitting antenna pattern and the product of the transmitting RP and the receiving RP antenna RS, is compared with reference and decision is made on operability of antenna, receiving and transmitting systems RS or their failure. Said result is achieved by the fact that complex for method implementation contains RS, which includes parabolic antenna or phased antenna array – hereinafter simply antenna, a rotary device, a receive-transmit switch, a receiver, a recorder, a synchronizer, wherein the antenna is mounted on the pivot device, the antenna output is connected to the first input of the receive-transmit switch, the output of which is connected to the first input of the RS receiver, the output of the receiver is connected to the first input of the recorder, transmitter output is connected to the second input of the receive-transmit switch, the second inputs of the receiver and the recorder, as well as the input of the transmitter are connected to the output of the synchronizer, system also comprises a control reflector mounted on a mast mounted at the beginning of a far RS antenna zone, an additional receiving channel comprising an omni-directional antenna and a receiver, an output of the omni-directional antenna is connected to the input of the additional channel receiver, wherein the RS also includes a reference recorder, a comparison circuit and an analysis device, the output of the additional channel receiver is connected to the third input of the recorder, the output of the recorder is connected to the first input of the comparison circuit, the output of the reference recorder is connected to the second input of the comparison circuit, output of comparison circuit is connected to input of analysis device, first and second inputs of recorder of standards are made with possibility of connection of receivers outputs to them.

EFFECT: providing antenna, receiver and transmitter directivity pattern control during RS operation.
