FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention represents a genetic construct carrying codon-optimized composition, GC-composition, presence of polyA sections and a structure of mRNA-generated gene of consensual glycoprotein (protein G) of rabies virus. It has been shown that blood serums of mice, single immunized with such genetic structure, 21 days after vaccination showed anti-rabies virus neutralizing activity > 0.5 IU/ml.
EFFECT: disclosed is a genetic construct based on an optimized gene of rabies virus consensus glycoprotein for preventing rabies.
