FIELD: construction; transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to construction of offshore pipelines. Invention discloses a guide structure for directing lowering of a pipeline from a suspended structure through a hole in a ship during laying along a J-shaped curve. Guide structure comprises right guide assembly and left guide assembly for contact with pipeline and its direction under suspended structure. Left and right guiding assemblies are made with possibility to move independently for contact with pipeline and its direction. Hole comprises tower shaft with opposite facing walls extending below waterline, and left and right guide assemblies are supported by said walls. Guiding assemblies can be installed for movement along rails laid in hole. Also disclosed are a pipe-laying vessel, a method of laying a pipeline from a pipe-laying vessel and a vessel for J-shaped laying of a pipeline.
EFFECT: group of inventions can be used in laying pipelines to the bottom of a water reservoir from a ship.
