FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines fuel supply systems. Disclosed is an internal combustion machine (10) having an internal combustion engine (14) intended for operation on gaseous fuel, to which fresh gas can be supplied via fresh gas path (16). Machine has one or several fuel pressure tanks (12) and has one or several gas injection valves (20) which can be connected to the above or said fuel pressure tanks (12) through the pressure control device (50). At that, means are provided for heating of said gas injection valves (20) and heating device (42) for heating gaseous fuel, wherein in said gas injection valves (20) is integrated over electric heating element. Also disclosed is method of operation of internal combustion machine (10), in which at least temporarily before and/or during operation in cold state said gas injection valves (20) are heated, wherein in first ambient temperature range, which, for example, can lie between 0 °C and -20 °C, heating device (42) is not used, and in second, colder, ambient temperature range, which, for example, can lie about -20 °C and lower, in addition, heating device (42) is used.

EFFECT: due to this it is possible to implement reliable cold start, as well as following cold start of operation in cold state of internal combustion machine (10) even at very low ambient temperatures.
