FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to starting of internal combustion engines from cold. According to proposed method of starting of internal combustion piston engine from cold, engine crankshaft is cranked, and phases of intake, compression and ignition and exhaust are executed. Novelty is that intake phase is started 5 degrees before bottom dead center and lasts during 15 degrees of crankshaft turning.
EFFECT: provision of quick starting of engine at low temperatures in cold weather owing to adjustment, without using of additional device and consumption f additional energy.
