FIELD: computer equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering for encoding digital sound. Technical result is achieved by decoding a bitstream signal as a preliminary temporal audio signal according to a coding mode selected from several coding modes, wherein a plurality of coding modes include a first coding mode, which includes a post-filtering step, and a second coding mode that does not include a post-filtering step, wherein at the post-filtering step, applying a tone amplification filter to the preliminary temporal audio signal to obtain a temporary audio signal, wherein the post-filtering step is selectively passed in response to the post-filtering information encoded in the bitstream signal, wherein post-filtering information indicates a decision on the encoder side whether to post-filter the post-filtering step according to which the post-filtering step is selectively passed in the first encoding mode.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of encoding accuracy and (perceived) accuracy of sound signal reproduction.
