FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering for processing digital audio data. Technical result is achieved due to the following stages: decoding the bit stream signal as a preliminary temporary audio signal in one of a plurality of decoding modes, wherein the plurality of decoding modes include code excited linear prediction decoding, CELP, and coded excitation transform mode, TCX; and filtering the preliminary temporary audio signal using a post-filter for attenuation of interharmonic noise in order to obtain a temporary audio signal, wherein the post-filter comprises a control section for selective actuation of the post-filter in one of the following modes: i) a filtering mode, where a post-filter filters a temporary audio signal in order to obtain a filtered signal and supplies the filtered signal as a temporary audio signal; and ii) a transmission mode, where the post-filter provides a temporary audio signal as a temporary audio signal, wherein attenuation of interharmonic noise depends on value of variable gain, and the control section is configured to activate the transmission mode by setting the variable gain value to zero.
EFFECT: elimination of artefacts during playback in decoded audio data.
