FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand-held devices for cutting ceramic products. Proposed device comprises base, lengthwise rail for cutter handle to be mounted thereon and travel there along, lateral swing handles and rotary adjustable plate. Said handle has rolling elements and element made from antifriction material to allow the handle move on the rail, lengthwise guide for cutting element holders and locking bolt for said holders. Rotary adjustable plate is locked in various angular positions by bolt fitted in one of taper seats arranged along the arc and clamped by vertical thrust flange. Aforesaid base has pins to fasten swing handles, appropriate springs and screws to adjust spring tension.
EFFECT: elimination of uptightness between handle and rail, higher accuracy and straightness of cut line, smooth run and lower noise.
