FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: field of application: electrical equipment. Control system for an electrical switching device comprises: at least first module comprising first control means which are configured to perform first control logic, and second module comprising second control means which are configured to execute second control logic; as well as at least one communication bus. First control means and the second control means are configured to functionally connect to at least one communication bus and share values of variables associated with the first control logic and with the second control logic through at least one communication; wherein said at least one communication bus comprises first communication bus and second communication bus, and wherein said control system is configured to: verify the ability of the first communication bus to share said variable values associated with said first control logic and said second control logic; using second communication bus for service software operations relating to said first and second control means, while first communication bus is available for said sharing; and switching sharing of said variable values associated with said first control logic and with said second control logic to second communication bus if the first communication bus is inaccessible for said shared use.

EFFECT: technical result is provision of repeated use of control device for a number of switching devices, which differ from originally proposed series.
