FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, in particular to an isolated antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof, which specifically bind to ligand 1A similar to tumour necrosis factor, as well as use thereof in a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting the biological activity of TL1A and for preventing a disease, disorder or condition mediated by TL1A. Also disclosed is an isolated nucleic acid coding said antibody or fragment thereof, as well as a vector and a host cell containing it. Invention also relates to a method for detecting TL1A in a sample, tissue or cell involving the use of said antibody or fragment thereof.
EFFECT: invention enables effective treatment of TL1A mediated disease, disorder or condition.
