FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and civil construction and can be used in marine and river construction of port facilities, construction of embankments and moorages, retaining walls during shore protection works, as well as in road construction, construction of tunnels and foundations in cramped conditions. Task of the present invention is to increase the loading capacity of the sheet tongue, possibility of using cheaper welded pipes of smaller diameter, which are produced by longitudinal rolling from the roll, thus reducing prime cost during construction. Sheet pile wall, mainly piers, embankments, channels, retaining walls at shore protection works, hydraulic engineering structures, general civil construction objects contains piles in the form of metal pipes partially or completely submerged into soil, and locking elements connecting them into a single wall along the construction line. In terms of sheet piling wall has saw-tooth shape with periodically repeating teeth, wherein side walls of teeth are formed by locking elements, protrusions and recesses are formed by piles and locking elements, and piles and locking elements connecting piles on protrusions and cavities of teeth, are located on different sides of neutral line, dividing wall section into two equilibrium parts.

EFFECT: invention considerably increases loading capacity of the tongue-and-groove wall due to displacement of piles and locking elements relative to the neutral (longitudinal) line of the wall cross-section and thereby increasing the moment of wall cross-section resistance to bending.
