FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal processing, in particular, to electric erosion methods for hardening and alloying electroconductive surfaces, and can be used in machine building and repair production for production of wear-resistant, anticorrosion and heat-resistant coatings on parts of assemblies. Method of electrospark coating application involves electrode displacement relative to part at constant speed at angle 30÷50° to machined surface. Longitudinal oscillations of the electrode are excited at ultrasonic frequency 18÷25 kHz and discharging current discharge pulses with energy of 0.12÷12 J. Thus entire surface of part is processed in steps.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain uniform thickness predicted homogeneous coatings with given technical parameters and properties.
