CONNECTION OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C09J5/02 C08J5/24 C08J5/12

Abstract RU 2708209 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the adhesive industry. To prepare the surface of the composite substrates before bonding, a hard-to-cure layer of surface treatment is applied on the resin-based composite resin-based base and then combined cured. After bonding, the composite base is completely cured, and the surface treatment layer remains partially cured. Surface treatment layer can be a resinous film or a removable sacrificial layer consisting of resin-impregnated fabric.

EFFECT: after preparation of the surface, the composite base acquires a chemically active gluing surface which can be glued to another composite base to form a covalently bonded structure.
