FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydraulic engineering, in particular to the system of pipelines transporting fluids. Invention can be used for damping of hydraulic impact in pipelines, which appear at closing of valves and gate valves, emergency disconnection of pumps, change of operation modes of pump units and errors of service personnel at power engineering enterprises, petrochemical industry, municipal water and heat supply. Device is intended for damping of hydraulic strikes in systems of pressure pipelines transporting fluids. Proposed device comprises section of central pipeline connected with inlet branch pipe entering inside cylindrical chamber arranged so that inlet pipe end is located at some distance from chamber wall to which outlet flange is connected, and liquid is poured into cylindrical chamber. In the lower part of the cylindrical chamber there located is a discharge branch pipe connected to the continuation of the pipeline where the liquid leaves. Output flange is connected to the inlet flange by means of a bolt joint. Between the flanges a safety destructible membrane is clamped, designed for action of certain pressure, at exceeding of which it breaks, thus opening fluid access to the chamber. Inlet flange is connected to the branch pipe, which in its turn is connected to the chamber.
EFFECT: improving operating reliability of the device, simplifying repair and reducing the cost of its operation.
