SUBSTANCE: method of firing a shot from a caseless weapon, in which substances in a liquid and gaseous aggregate state are used for firing a shot. Thrown body is arranged in gun breechblock. Initial acceleration of the breechblock with the thrown body or movement of the thrown body towards the area of low pressure with subsequent change of direction of movement towards the muzzle end of the barrel is carried out due to supply of gases with high pressure. Shot is performed due to formation of excess pressure during detonation of steam-gas mixture. Outflow of the supplied liquid into the area of low pressure is carried out with or without discontinuity of the liquid flow due to pressure difference. During firing, partial compensation of recoil force of caseless weapon or without it is provided.
EFFECT: reduced weight and size of the weapon, wider range of used substances for firing a shot.
