SUBSTANCE: method for firing a shot from an automatic caseless weapon, in which the energy of the gas(es) is used to feed the liquid and the initial acceleration of the projectile; inertia of movement of the breechblock for supplying gas(es) under pressure to the reduced pressure chamber; energy of gas(es) for detonation of steam-gas mixture; throwing gas pressure energy for barrel bore locking, firing; energy of throwing gas for return of movable parts to initial position, displacement of gases from chamber of high pressure and chamber of low pressure. Automatic caseless weapon contains a barrel with a breech end, a breechblock, channels for supply of gases and liquid, a mechanism of gas and liquid distribution, reservoirs with high pressure gas and liquid, valves.
EFFECT: possibility of using liquids and gas(es) for firing a shot from an automatic caseless weapon, reducing the weight and size of the weapon.
