FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry and is intended for storage of food products, for example fresh cooled meat, in order to increase storage life and preserve its quality properties, as well as to preserve the freshness of biological objects of animal origin during storage thereof and possible transplantation of organs. Method involves application on its surface of water-containing protective multicomponent composition in liquid form with subsequent packaging thereof into film material, formed by preliminary addition of a water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol into a similar liquid composition with subsequent reduction in this composition of water by evaporation to form a hardened film material to form in it during formation of structural clusters based on polyvinyl alcohol and components of liquid composition, wherein packaged meat is placed and stored in a constant magnetic field with induction of 0.3 to 2.4 T.
EFFECT: longer storage life of fresh cooled meat with preservation of its quality.
