FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat exchange technology, namely to the method of processing magnetorheological liquid-coolant for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. Magnetorheological coolant includes microparticles of carbonyl iron, surface of which is treated with a surfactant, and a liquid selected from a series of monohydric and polyhydric alcohols, water, their mixtures and organosilicon fluids. Specified heat transfer medium is subjected to a joint action by a constant magnetic field with a strength of 2 to 700 E and an alternating magnetic field with a strength of 0.2 to 40 E at a frequency of 0.2 to 50 Hz in the range of exposure to a constant magnetic field of 2 to 60 E and an alternating magnetic field with a strength of 20 to 800 E at a frequency of 30 to 120 Hz in the range of exposure to a constant magnetic field of 20 to 700 E.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of heat transfer by controlling the thermal conductivity of the coolant.
