SURGICAL DISSECTOR, SURGICAL SYSTEM AND TISSUE DISSECTION METHOD Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/32 A61B17/3203

Abstract RU 2708578 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to surgical instruments, including endoscopic instruments, for dissection and coagulation of tissues during surgical interventions. A surgical dissector comprises a body and a handle. In the body on the side of its distal surface a working tube of larger diameter is installed, which is made with the possibility of ensuring the function of liquid aspiration from the operation area, and a working tube of smaller diameter, which is made with the possibility to provide the liquid supply function to the operation area. Smaller diameter working tube is arranged inside larger diameter working tube. Two tubes are connected to the lower surface of the handle, one of them is made with the possibility of supply to the liquid dissector, the other one is connected to the vacuum aspirator. On the distal surface of the handle, a handle is installed with the possibility of adjusting the smaller diameter working tube so that when the handle is pressed, the small diameter working tube extends forward by 20–30 mm, after which liquid is automatically supplied, aspiration mode button is also installed on the distal surface of the handle. Surgical system for dissection comprises the above surgical dissector, sterile liquid reservoir configured to maintain a fixed liquid temperature having a heating element, relay, temperature control means, endoscopy pump configured to supply liquid from the reservoir under the established pressure through the flexible tube to the above surgical dissector, a vacuum aspirator for removal of liquid from the operation area, which is connected by means of a flexible tube to the above surgical dissector. Method of tissue dissection in surgical operation involves supply by means of the above dissector to delaminated tissue of temperature 35–70 °C.

EFFECT: inventions allow reducing intraoperative injures, more reliable coagulation of small vessels, reducing blood loss during the intervention, creating conditions for better wound healing, reducing the risk of forming extensive and coarse scars, reducing the risk of infectious complications in the intervention.
