FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: surgical dissector contains a longitudinal body with a hollow carriage therein and two handles. At the end of the carriage a cutting branch is made, interacting during resection with a blunt branch, located at the end of the longitudinal body. One handle is fixedly attached to the body. The other handle is attached to the body hingedly with a possibility of reciprocating the carriage in the body cavity and returning to its original position by means of a pair of leaf springs fixed to the handles. In the cavity of the carriage at the level of the branch cutting edge, in its extreme position a cut-off tissues ejector is placed with a gap. The carriage is made with a bracket-shaped profile forming skids in the base for longitudinal sliding of the carriage in the body cavity. Between the skids, the ejector frame is located, fixed on the base of the longitudinal body cavity. A protrusion is additionally made on the blunt branch with a possibility of interaction during resection with the inner surface of the cutting branch.
EFFECT: increased ergonomics and quality of surgical operations.
