FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to carbon-polysulphonic polymer composites, particularly polysulphone-based carbon plastics, which are used in space engineering, aircraft and helicopter, automotive industry and additive technologies. Polymer composite based on polysulfone and reinforcing carbon tapes or fibers, which are coated with copolyhydroxyether, contains, as the coupling agent, a thermoplastic copolymer - copolyhydroxyether based on di(4-oxyphenyl)-sulphone, di(4-oxyphenyl)-propane and 3-chloro-1,2-epoxypropane with molecular weight of 30–50 thousand. Invention also relates to a method of producing a carbon-polysulphone polymer composite, which includes dressing carbon strips or fibers by applying a dressing material - copolyhydroxyether based on and (4-hydroxyphenyl)-sulfone, di(4-hydroxyphenyl) -propane and 3-chloro-1,2-epoxypropane with molecular weight of 30–50 thousand from solution with mass concentration of 2.5–6 % in organic volatile solvents and pressing on hydraulic press under pressure 1.0–2.0 MPa at temperature of 225–245 °C for 30 minutes.
EFFECT: technical result consists in producing polysulfone carbon-polysulphone polymer composite reinforced with carbon fillers (tapes and fibers) with higher compression strength.
