FIELD: glass production.
SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining sized glass fibers and polymer composites based on them. A method for obtaining sized glass fibers intended for special-purpose structural products in additive techniques based on sizing glass fibers by applying a sizing composition from a solution followed by drying in an oven under vacuum at 64°C, the sizing composition is applied from a solution with a mass concentration of 0.88% in an organic volatile solvent acetone and a stepwise temperature increase is carried out with simultaneous distillation of the solvent and exposure to ultrasound with an operating power of 35 kHz according to the mode: 30°C - 15 min; 40°C - 15 min; 45°C - 15 min; 50°C - 15 min; 55°C - 15 min, and the quantitative ratio of the components corresponds wt.%: glass fiber 95.5; 4,4'-dioxydiphenylpropane 1.0÷3.5; 4,4'-diaminodiphenylpropane 3.5÷1.0. A polymer composite is used for the production of structural products for special purposes in additive techniques, containing a polymer matrix based on polyesterimide and finished glass fiber, indicated above, and the quantitative ratio of the components in the composition corresponds, wt.%: polyesterimide 80, glass fiber 20.
EFFECT: improved thermal stability of the created polymer composites due to the introduction of a sizing composition - 4,4'-diaminodiphenylpropane and 4,4'-dioxydiphenylpropane, which increases the wettability of the glass fiber and increases the boundary interactions between the filler and the polyesterimide matrix.
