FIELD: glass fibres; polymer polyetherimide compositions.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing finished glass fibres and polymer polyetherimide compositions based on them for use as structural polymer materials in additive technologies. Glass fibre finished with a mixture of oligomeric sulfone based on 4,4'-dioxyphthalophenone and 4,4' -dichlorodiphenylsulfone with degree of polycondensation n=9÷11 and 1,3-diaminobenzene, are obtained by applying sizing components in an ultrasonic bath from a solution with a mass concentration of 0.59% in a mixture of highly volatile organic solvents acetone and chloroform at 20°C for 5 minutes, after which a stepwise increase in temperature and distillation of the solvent are carried out with the supply of nitrogen and exposure to ultrasound with an operating power of 35 kHz . Finished glass fibre is introduced into the polyetherimide matrix in an amount of 20 wt.%.
EFFECT: improving the bending strength of the polymer glass fibre composition due to the introduction of a sizing composition that increases the wettability of the filler and increases the intermolecular interactions between the glass fibre and the polyetherimide matrix.
