FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to processing of waste, such as municipal sewage sludge, comprising a crude sediment and excess active sludge, as well as petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food industry, cosmetic wastes, medical products of the widest range. Method for complex treatment of sewage sludge containing crude sediment and excess activated sludge, involving preliminary dehydration of precipitation, mixing them with binder inorganic mineral additive to form a homogeneous mixture, decontamination, disinfection, production of recycling product, wherein the process of neutralizing precipitation involves separating heavy metals from the liquid phase by adsorption and ion exchange at a mixing step, dehydration of precipitation at the stage of granulation of a homogeneous mixture, at which decontamination of sediments is simultaneously carried out by heating mixture to 150–200 °C at pressing through press granulator, made with electric heating, dehydrating the obtained granules at the step of drying them naturally, drying the dried granules at the calcining step at a temperature equal to 200–1,000 °C, to produce final product of recycling.
EFFECT: creation of universal complex technology of processing of sewage sludge, providing highly effective complete decontamination and disinfection, reduction of prime cost of processing, obtaining a highly environmentally friendly end product of disposal of reduced volume suitable for transportation, suitable for long-term storage without negative impact on environment, suitable for wide application or further processing for provision of repeated use depending on purpose.
