FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: use: for ultrasound overhead flow measurement by measuring off-center sound paths. Summary of invention consists in the fact that input of ultrasonic waves into process pipe and into working medium by means of an applied ultrasonic transducer operating in transmission mode, dispersing ultrasonic waves in the process pipe by means of at least one first body, which is located inside the process pipe and serves to implement measurement of off-center sound paths, prevention of full reflection of dissipated ultrasonic waves at transition of boundary by diffused ultrasonic waves from working medium into process pipe by means of at least one second body, which is located on the side of the inner wall on the process pipe and serves to measure the off-center sound paths, such that the scattered ultrasonic waves can leave the process pipe, reception of noise-free ultrasonic waves of central sound paths by means of at least one first applied ultrasonic transducer operating in mode of receiving and reception of dissipated ultrasonic waves of off-center sound paths by means of at least one second ultrasound transducer operating in mode of receiving an overlay ultrasonic transducer.
EFFECT: possibility of high measurement accuracy in a large measurement range even under difficult measurement conditions.
