FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: antenna assembly, which is adapted from a remote location, comprising a primary reflector; auxiliary reflector connected to main reflector, and a radiator configured to receive a transmitted signal irradiating the primary reflector through an auxiliary reflector or transmitting the transmitted signal to the primary reflector through an auxiliary reflector. Also, the assembly comprises a geometrical measuring device configured to scan the inner surface of the primary reflector by measuring the distance from the geometric measuring device to a plurality of selected points on the inner surface of the primary reflector and capable of outputting a set of data elements representing geometrical parameters of the inner surface of the primary reflector. Auxiliary reflector comprises multiple actuators distributed over its outer surface and attached to said surface, and each actuator of plurality of actuators is configured to locally deform the surface of the auxiliary reflector adjacent to said actuator in response to the actuator position change.
EFFECT: described is an antenna unit which is tuned from a remote location.
