FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass compositions for making high-technology, high-modulus, high-strength continuous glass fiber. Glass production window includes the following components, wt.%: SiO2 53.00–60.00; Al2O3 20.00–27.00; MgO 13.00–25.00; TiO2 0.20–0.70; Na2O+K2O 0.03–0.45; ZrO2 0.05–0.20; Cr2O3 0.001–0.20; MoO3 0.001–0.20; PdO 0.001–0.20.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is obtaining high-technology, high-modulus, high-strength glass composition, which enables to perform stable process of continuous fiber production in multi-glass melting vessels, while maintaining high values of modulus of elasticity (94–95 GPa) and strength (4,300–4,500 MPa), as well as chemical resistance of fibers with respect to neutral medium.
