FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to veterinary science, namely to immunology, and can be used for using the vaccine to reduce asymptomatic extraction of Lawsonia intracellularis bacteria in pigs. Vaccine containing a non-living Lawsonia intracellularis antigen and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier is used in pigs with subclinical Lawsonia intracellularis infection, used by systemic administration. Group of inventions also relates to a method for reducing asymptomatic recovery of Lawsonia intracellularis bacteria in pigs.
EFFECT: using the given group of inventions enables reducing asymptomatic recovery of Lawsonia intracellularis bacteria in pigs using this vaccine.
