FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to use of a vaccine containing a non-living Lawsonia intracellularis antigen and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and to a method for reducing the negative effect on the average daily weight gain in swine (ADWG), associated with subclinical Lawsonia intracellularis infection. Vaccine is used to reduce negative effect on average daily weight gain in swine (ADWG), associated with subclinical Lawsonia intracellularis infection, by systemic administration of vaccine to a pig.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables treating a subclinical Lawsonia intracellularis infection.
