SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dentistry, specifically to a photocurable composition as a dental composite resin, which contains a polymerizable (meth)acrylate monomer and a photopolymerization initiator which contains: a photosensitizer – α-diketone; aromatic tertiary amine of formula (1) , where substituents R¹ and R² independently of each other represent C₁-C₆ alkyl, C₁-C₆ haloalkyl or C₁-C₆ hydroxyalkyl group, and substitute R³ is C₁-C₆ alkyl, C₂-C₁₂ alkenyl, C₁-C₁₀ alkoxy or C₁-C₁₀ alkyloxycarbonyl group; and aryliodonium salt, in which arylydonionium cation is selected from diphenyliodonium, bis(p-chlorophenyl)iodonium, ditolyliodonium, bis(p-methoxyphenyl)iodonium, bis(p-tert-butylphenyl)iodonium, p-isopropylphenyl-p-methylphenyliodonium, bis(m-nitrophenyl)iodonium, p-tert-butylphenylphenyliodonium, p-methoxyphenylphenyliodonium, p-octyloxyphenylphenyliodonium or p-phenoxyphenylphenyliodonium, and the counterion is selected from nitrate-, acetate-, chloroacetate-, carboxylate- or phenolate-anion.
