SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dentistry and concerns a curable composition intended for dentistry. Composition contains: polymerizable monomer based on (meth)acrylate (A); inorganic filler (B) having an average particle size of 0.1–1 mcm and which is spherical silica-based composite oxide particles, the surface of which is treated with a silane binding agent; organo-inorganic composite filler (C), having an aggregate structure, in which inorganic primary particles having an average particle size of 10–1000 nm, bonded together by a resin layer covering the surface of the particles to form voids, wherein the composite filler (C) has an average particle size of 10–100 mcm and a specific pore volume; polymerisation initiator (D). Said primary particles are spherical particles of silicon dioxide-based composite oxide. Composite filler (C) includes an organo-inorganic composite filler (C1) with a curved surface shape, consisting of organo-inorganic composite aggregate particles having a curved surface shape, and an organo-inorganic composite filler (C2) of irregular shape, consisting of organo-inorganic composite aggregate particles having an irregular shape, which includes an edge portion. Fillers (C1) and (C2) are mixed so that C1/(C1 + C2) is 0.2–0.8 per number of particles with particle size of 5 mcm or more.

EFFECT: use of the composition provides a curable body having high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, as well as excellent aesthetic properties, wherein the composition can maintain excellent suitability when used for a long period of time without deterioration of suitability during use due to occurrence of stickiness even after long-term storage, and also has satisfactory retention of shape.
