SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science. Method includes orthopaedic trimming, removal of devitalized tissues, thereafter, an even layer of ointment is applied on the affected area, covered with a gauze napkin and bandaged with a veterinary self-fixing elastic bandage. Procedure is repeated 3-4 days later until the ulcerous lesions are completely healed. Ointment contains the following initial components taken in g/600 g: egocin 20 – 290, “АСД-3Ф” – 115, vitamin preparation Trivit – 90, copper sulphate – 30, dioxidine – 45, Vaseline – 30.

EFFECT: invention allows reducing the area of oedema, reducing pain, restoring the physiological function of the extremity, reducing the length of healing and increasing the clinical effectiveness.
