SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybrid vehicles. Hybrid vehicle movement mode control device comprises a motion plan preparation part establishing one or more intermediate points along the planned route, in order to divide the planned route into a plurality of traffic routes and to divide the traffic routes in addition to the plurality of traffic sections, and setting the motion mode in motion in the motion sections from the EV mode or the HV mode. Movement mode switching part is also provided in accordance with the motion plan. Part of preparation of the traffic plan establishes modes of movement of all traffic sections on one route to EV mode.
EFFECT: number of times of catalyst heating is held back.
