SUBSTANCE: method includes using tool 4 with a hand-held device operating from a power source, configured to rotate tool 4, which comprises disc-shaped element 5 with diameter of 9.525 mm to 76.2 mm, rigidly connected with shaft 2, and abrasive surface 9 along outer periphery 8 of element 5 and subsequent grinding of object by disk-shaped element 5 at rotation of tool 4 by means of manual device operating from power supply.
EFFECT: disclosed are thread repair tools and methods of their production and use.
