FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a method for making a surgical needle made from a bar-shaped workpiece made from a super elastic or super elastic alloy, containing a base of nickel (Ni) and titanium (Ti). Proposed method comprises cold molding or molding bent needle profile at room temperature in appropriate fixture. Method comprises heat treatment of needle in said fixture for storing geometry of bent profile by annealing at heating temperature 470 °C for 15 minutes with subsequent cooling with water to memorize the bent profile geometry. Method involves cleaning the needle by chemical etching of the electrochemical or electrolytic polishing type or by means of a chemical reagent solution for removal of the oxide layer deposited on the needle during its heat treatment.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of manufacturing method of superelastic needle to ensure maintenance of two different conditions.
