SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to aviation, space, marine medicine, and can be used to increase accuracy of determining the degree of human resistance to acute normobaric hypoxic hypoxia. Heart rate and arterial blood oxygen saturation are measured in the initial state and during 10-minute breathing with a hypoxic gas mixture containing 10% oxygen and 90% nitrogen. After breathing with a hypoxic gas mixture, a Hench test is carried out, its result and the degree of arterial blood oxygen saturation are recorded, and then for 10 minutes, the heart rate recovery time and the arterial blood oxygen saturation recovery time are determined. Obtained values are assigned points, the obtained points are summed up. If the total score is less than 9 points, the subjects are referred to the group of highly resistant ones, if the total score is 9-14 points – to the group of medium-resistant ones, and the total value of more than 14 points – to the group of those unstable to acute normobaric hypoxic hypoxia.

EFFECT: method enables increasing the accuracy of determining the degree of human resistance to acute normobaric hypoxic hypoxia by evaluating a combination of the most significant values.
