FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of robot position. Proposed system comprises ultrasonic and infrared sensors arranged along robot outer surface. Ultrasonic and infrared sensors are part of array of hybrid sensors. Array of hybrid sensors includes at least three hybrid sensors installed along the perimeter of external surface of robot. Each hybrid sensor comprises an infrared sensor, an ultrasonic signal emitter membrane, an ultrasonic signal receiver membrane, a LED indicator connected to the microcontroller. In its turn, microcontroller is connected by network with robot control unit.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of quality and accuracy of measuring distance to complex objects.
