SUBSTANCE: invention relates to smoking articles. Smoking article comprises smoking material; filter located further along the flow direction relative to the smoking material and containing the filtered filter material, and a destructible capsule comprising a core surrounded by a fragile shell and containing a liquid composition containing an agent for improving organoleptic properties, wherein destructible capsule is arranged so that to ensure contact of liquid composition with filtering material at break of shell, wherein distribution of agent for improvement of organoleptic properties in filtering material is increased by at least 10 % compared to filtering material not subjected to plasma treatment.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is increase in the speed or amount of the delivered agent to improve organoleptic properties and improved distribution of the plasticiser, which enables to use a smaller amount of plasticiser or possibility of achieving high strength of the filter using a given amount of plasticiser.
