SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol generating product, to a system containing an aerosol generating product, and to the use of an aerosol generating product. The aerosol generating product contains aerosol generating substrate and a mouthpiece aligned along an axis with aerosol generating substrate. The mouthpiece contains a segment with an additive, made of filter material, containing one or more destructible capsules. Each destructible capsule contains an outer shell and an inner core containing an additive. The mouthpiece additionally contains an intermediate segment made of filter material, provided adjacent to aerosol generating substrate. The segment with the additive, which is made of filter material, is located downstream from the intermediate segment to form a cavity located upstream between the intermediate segment and the segment with the additive, which is made of filter material. The cavity located upstream is essentially unfilled. The mouthpiece also contains a wrapper surrounding the segment with the additive, which is made of filter material, and a cavity located upstream.
EFFECT: providing a more reliable and stable means for releasing an additive, such as a flavoring agent, into a mouthpiece during smoking.
