SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to printing on surface by transfer of image from ink ribbon and can be used in printing industry. Essence of the group of inventions consists in a method of thermal transfer printing, which differs by that includes combination of ink ribbon and adhesive tape, forming an image on the ink ribbon by exposing the adhesive tape to the adhesive film by the thermal transfer printing head, separating the ink and the adhesive tape and transferring the image from the ink ribbon onto the surface.
EFFECT: possibility of using coloring tapes without antistatic coating during thermal transfer printing.
