SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical packages. Proposed package comprises tray with top surface, bottom surface, proximal end, distal end and first and second lateral sides extending between proximal and distal ends. Holding sleeve is wrapped around the tray and comprises a panel covering the top surface of the tray, a bottom panel covering the bottom surface of the tray, and a connecting panel extending between the upper and lower panels and covering one of the first and second lateral sides of the tray. Upper panel of the retainer sleeve comprises a proximal end, a distal edge, an outer edge, an incision extending inward from the outer edge, and an elongated tab extending along the outer edge of the upper panel and distally above the incision formed on the outer edge of the upper panel. Elongated lug is tucked under the connecting panel and is located between the connecting panel and the tray for holding the top panel in place unless it is required to withdraw the upper panel from the top surface of the tray. Retention cap covers the distal end of the upper panel of the holding sleeve and is connected to the distal end of the tray for attachment of the distal end of the holding sleeve to the tray. Disclosed are alternative embodiments of package.

EFFECT: technical result is to enable medical personnel to sterilize bulky equipment and reduce the risk of falling medical devices.
