FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to diagnostics. Heart rate monitoring system configured to carry a device which is configured to be attached to or placed on the user's skin. System comprises: an inactivity determination unit for determining periods of inactivity of a user based on motion data recorded by at least one motion sensor attached to a user. Traffic data contain activity indices, information on speed, information on number of steps, information on movement level. Activity indices are determined by analyzing output data of accelerometers. At least one heart rate sensor for measuring data on heart rate of a user in time and life dynamics without restrictions. Unit for calculating a heart rate at rest for calculating heart rate of a user at rest based on said heart rate data measured by at least one heart rate sensor during periods of inactivity determined by the idle time determination unit. Validation unit for establishing reliable heart rate data among the measured heart rate data. Validation unit is configured to ignore data on heart rate, which is lower than the lower threshold value, and data on heart rate, which exceeds the upper threshold value. Unit for calculating a heart rate at rest is configured to calculate a heartbeat rate of a user at rest based on reliable heart rate data set by the validation unit. Method is implemented by means of system.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables non-invasive effective monitoring of heart rate in normal life.
