FIELD: cosmetic industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to cosmetology and aims at reducing the appearance of dermatological signs of aging and developing sebum and/or reducing undesired lipogenesis or increasing lipolysis. Described is a composition and methods involving external application on skin of composition containing, in suitable for external application means of delivery, peptide, which includes: (a) the sequence QILSKLRL (SEQ ID NO: 5), LRLK (SEQ ID NO: 6) or MVV (SEQ ID NO: 7), or its salt, ester or pro-drug; (b) the TAKDGAP sequence (SEQ ID NO: 8), IFGGTVYRS (SEQ ID NO: 9) or RTPKISKPIKFELSG (SEQ ID NO: 10), or a salt thereof, an ester or pro-drug; or (c) the AECK sequence (SEQ ID NO: 11), or a salt thereof, an ester or pro-drug; wherein said prodrugs are N-acetyl derivative, N-acetyl side chain derivative, N-hydroxymethylated or N-phthalated derivative of its N-terminus and/or side chain.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables reducing signs of aging and/or improving skin health.
