SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an additive composition for removing hydrogen sulphide, said composition comprising: a. additive 1 containing a zinc salt of an organic acid; and b. at least one activator containing one or more hydroxyalkylated amines; wherein zinc salt of organic acid includes zinc octoate (Zn octoate); wherein the activator contains: (i) tris(2-hydroxypropyl)amine (TIPA); (ii) a propoxylated derivative of tris(2-hydroxypropyl)amine (propoxylated TIPA) with average molecular weight from 1300 to 1400 daltons; (iii) an ethoxylated derivative of tris(2-hydroxypropyl)amine (ethoxylated TIPA) or (iv) a mixture thereof. Invention also relates to use of the composition, a method of removing hydrogen sulphide and a medium.
EFFECT: disclosed invention makes it possible to efficiently remove hydrogen sulphide.
