FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an additive composition for controlling and inhibiting polymerisation of aliphatic monomers containing butadiene and for controlling and inhibiting dimerisation of aliphatic monomers containing butadiene. Additive is characterized by that the additive composition includes: A) one or more first components A, selected from a group comprising a) quinone-methide (QM), b) a quinone-methide (QM) derivative containing an ester derivative of quinone-methide, c) nitroxide compounds and d) a mixture thereof; and B) one or more second components B selected from a group comprising: i) tertiary amines treated with the oxide, ii) hydroxyl alkyl tertiary amines, iii) polyester amines and iv) mixture thereof; and wherein the treated oxide comprises a tertiary amine N, N, N', N'-tetrakis(2-hydroxypropyl)ethylenediamine) (Quadrol®); and wherein the tertiary amine alkyl hydroxide contains tris(2-hydroxypropyl) amine (TIPA). Invention also relates to a method of using an additive composition for controlling and inhibiting polymerisation of aliphatic monomers (versions) and a method of producing an additive composition. Proposed additive is more effective.

EFFECT: disclosed is an additive composition for controlling and inhibiting polymerisation of aliphatic monomers, as well as methods for production and use thereof.
