FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar systems and consists in the fact that based on radio signals received from a radar object (RO), values of distance from an aircraft – a radar station carrier to a RO are evaluated. Extrapolated range to the RO and the rate of convergence are estimated using the polyharmonic extrapolation algorithm and Chebyshev spectral differentiation, based on the estimated values of the range to the RO. These data are transmitted to consumers, for example, in aircraft control system for generation and implementation of control signals.
EFFECT: possibility of determining extrapolated values of range to RO and approach speed with it.
