SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to thoracic surgery and phthisiosurgery. After the upper posterior five-ribbed-thoracoplasty, thoracotomy, bronchial fistula border isolation and fistula resection, the main bronchus stump is closed with single sutures. That is followed by myoplastic stapes muscle grafting with closing the upper aperture using a subscapular, rhombic, crone portion of the trapezius muscle. It is followed by open sanitation of residual empyema to obtain negative results of sowing M. tuberculosis and nonspecific flora. That is followed by myoplastic closure of thoracostomy.

EFFECT: method enables reliable elimination of the chronic recurrent bronchial fistula with successful treatment of the empyema of the residual pleural cavity, reducing injuries and preserving the carcass of the thoracic wall.
